WDW Today Podcast

One thing that I used to listen to like clock work was WDW Today Podcast, which has 4 podcasters who some are also bloggers: Matt Hochberg, Mike Newell, Mike Scopa and Len Testa.

If you are a fan of Disney World/Land books you'll recognize Len Testa from The *Unofficial? Guide book to Disney World. Mike Scopa also blogs at

I came across WDWToday when i was in college and first came across allears. Then I saw WDWToday and from them on I became a fan. They have podcasts Monday's Wednesdays and Fridays, and every Wednesday they answer listener's questions.

In my years of being a listener (and a fan), I have had my question answered 2-3 times and once called in during their live show. Only once because I'm not a huge fan of my own voice. lol. I'm 26 years old and sound like a child on record. Oy.

Anyway, if you are a Disney World Fan or new to Disney World then this podcast is for you!

Even More Success!!!

Even More Success!

So I went back Saturday to the GW in N. NJ and found a boat load of stuff. I found 4 Disney Stuff Characters right from the parks. One is a Donald Duck, goofy, Dopey, and a rare Chip from Rescue Rangers (Sorry no pics)

I also found 2 Disney World Frame Magnets...One is Mickey mouse, which is missing a back and another one is of Cinderella's Castle with Tinkerbell.

Also just wanted to share my new addition to my vinylmation collection. I got Minnie Mouse dressed up as a Witch. I got it for FREE off with points I saved up. Hehehe. I thought her hat would come off because most vinylmations with hats the hats usually come off, but not her's which i guess is a good thing so that I don't loose it. lol

Disney Universe Wii - A Review

So recently like 1 week or so ago I bought Disney Universe for the Nintendo Wii. I thought it would get bored fast just collecting gold (which are shaped as Mickey's) but it's more then that. You fight bad guys who get in your way, finish quests and collect Disney Costumes. True I only got to the 2nd world of Alice In Wonderland before deleting my saved game because truthfully I died soo many times, I ended up with a bad score. Then I kept forgetting to do stuff so more deleting of the saved I play as Donald Duck but there are more costumes. I can't wait to get Stitch costume (and hopefully he's not the last guy to get).

I really love this game and  if you are a Disney fan, who loves fighting games and quests then this game is for you. It's awesome.

My Rating 5/5 Stars.

Another Successful Day

Today, October 18, 2012 I had another very successful day, even though truthfully I didn't think I'd find anything.

I found a Minnie Mouse statue (not pictured) in the display case for sale. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. I will try to upload a picture of it later. The lady behind the counter had to put it under the cash register.  It's their policy. I was hoping that I wouldn't forget about it like I did the other time I forgot to get a penguin pin and Abraham Lincoln keychain which I am still pouting over.

The 2nd find today was Mickey Ears.

My mom was like "These aren't Mickey Ears." I told her that they were and they were from the Animal Kingdom.

The 2nd Find was a Disney World Plate. It matches my hot plate I found earlier this year so I took a picture of them side by side.

Last but not least, I found a Mickey Mouse pepper Shaker.... I looked all over for the salt one but I guess they did not have it. I guess whoever owned the set either lost the other one or it broke.

Disney World Jackpot

Today I went to, two good wills, the first one I hit the mega load aka Jackpot of Disney World items from early 90's into the 20's...First I found Old plastic cups. There are 6 to a set from the Magic Kingdom, I only found 3.

Main Street

and Tomorrowland (I got 3 of this one)

I also found 3 mickey mouse cups

I was very shocked to see them. If anybody needs a Tomorrowland cup to finish your collection, I will do a trade for Adventureland and the last missing one which is Fantasyland.

The second set of 4 plastic cups I found was from
Chef Mickeys.

Not sure how old this one is. The other cups were from 1990.
last but not least, my last Disney World Item I bought was a 2000 Snowglobe

I went to another Good Will Store where I noticed they had 3 cups from the Disney Cruise Line (pictured below) but I decided against buying them for $0.99 each.

As you can also notice my key chain of the mickey mouse key chain I also got that at a good will store last year. :)

October Findings...So far

October Findings....So far

So it's October. Time to carve those pumpkins, decorate the house with spookiful things and don't forget the trick or treat candy? Or perhaps your a Halloween Scrooge and like to give out raisins. lol. Anyway, it's October...October 5th to be exact. I celebrated my 26 birthday...alone I might add. It's not fun when you don't have any friends to celebrate it but then again I do have friends...just not local.

Anyway, today I learned my lessson. Number 1 Rule of shopping good will:
#1. Always Buy the Item when you see it. Don't assume it will be there later when you sit in traffic
to go back and get it. That's what happened to me tonight. Argh. I am still punching myself in the head. Today I saw the coolest Mickey Mouse bag, but it had a scruff mark and it was $20.00. So I didn't buy it. However I did buy:

So when i did get home I realized I should have bought the bag. So I hopped in the car and went the fastest way around the main road with MAJOR traffic. I did sat in some traffic but probably not as bad as the main road. When I did get to the Good Will I almost got a ticket because I decided to drive down the side strip because it wasn't that far from the exit. I saw a cop and thank god he didn't give me a ticket.
But to my dismay the purse was not there.

I was upset but as I continued to walk around hoping that someone picked it up and moved it somewhere I came across a piece of luggage with Mickey Mouse on it and another awesome thing.

As you can see the tags are still on the luggage. Someone bought the luggage new from Sears for reduced price for $44.27. I clearly did NOT pay that. I paid $9.99 for it! it's pretty new but I think the removable toiletry bag is missing. But hey, other then that it's brand new!!! and I love my Tinkerbell too.

The Muppets

Today I went to the good will. I normally don't botherin the bag department but I ventured over there were I saw a kermit bag. At first I thought somebody sewed a kermit patch onto a black bag but when I looked inside the tag said "The Muppets." Its not an old bag but a bag I have never seen before. Wahoo!
